College Library
1.Main Libarary
Library being the hub of academic activities, serves the intellectual needs of the students by providing access to books, magazines, journals and news - papers. Our college library has a stock of more than 20 thousand volumes on all subjects having open shelf system. It contains general books of varied interests. Its reading room accommodates more than 200 students, and a separate arrangement of seating and reading is made for girls. The students can get books issued on their library cards for fixed duration. The Photostat facility is also available in the library.
2. Text Book Library
The poor and deserving students can get prescribed text books issued for full session from the text book library of the college. Number of books as per students's requirements are added every year. There are more than one thousand books in this wing.
3. P.G. Section of the Library
The main library of the college has maintained separate section for P.G. students with separate sections for all subjects. The total number of books in each subject matches with the demand of books prescribed by the University and required by the students. The section is regularly updated with the latest publications of books, journals and magazines both literary as well as general. The information of the arrival of new books is properly displayed at the notice board of the library.
4. Periodicals and Journals
The college subscribes to a number of weekly/ Fortnightly /monthly magazines, journals and periodicals for the teachers as well as for the learners to equip them with the latest information in the field of science, commerce, literature and general knowledge.
5.Book Bank
The college provides the facility of book bank for the students. A book bank has been established for SC/ST students having the books on various subjects. Different clubs and local societies also help in providing funds for the book bank facility.
SSM is a place where you can develop your carrier and bring out the talents in you. SSM has got a supportive management and has also got a good set of staff who help us not only in academics but also in the stress students face. SSM is a digital campus which helps us to have a easy communication and interaction with the staffs. Placement trainings are given which are useful for us to face our interviews. SSM gives scholarships to students who perform well in their academic, which is a good motivation for the students. I am happy to say that am a student of SSM. ..
