S.S.M. is also known as Sports Star Performer College. The Physical Education & Sports Department of the college was established with the objective to inspire students to be physically & mentally fit, strong, alert and energetic by engaging in physical and mental exercises. To make this motto Healthy mind resides in Healthy body reach its promise, The department continues to strive in maintaining its efforts to raise the level of competency in students through continuous up gradation of the facilities and infrastructure to the student community through which our students are naturally getting motivated to exhibit their talent in many sports/games competitions at National and International levels. The department aims at inculcating and promoting the essence and value of sports in the life of students to make them attain and achieve the best of physical fitness. The overall well-being is facilitated by the guidance offered by coaches and sports persons of professional repute with the result that the Sports Stars of our College have been winning laurels for the college since more than a decade. We have the honor to win Overall General Sports Trophy in B-Division consecutively for Seventeen Times and Runner-up Trophy for three times. Our players have raised the pedestal of the College in all Inter-College, Inter- University, National and International Competitions.
