The council is an amalgam of diverse students, bringing to table unique perspective and opinions on ways to bridge the gap between the administration and the students. Student Council at SSM is constituted with an objective to promote students participation in institutional activities and to make them feel well represented in institutional working.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating between different student bodies at the time of different academic and co-curricular activities
• Receiving relevant suggestions from the respective student bodies and departments they belong to and conveying them to the In-charge of the Council

Objectives:

• To be the voice of the students to the administration and vice versa as well.
• The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.
• Create an environment where every student can voice out their concern or need.
• To provide a platform where the students can showcase their talent without hesitation.
• The students council is responsible for the fluid and graceful functioning of different organizational events.
