A Student Council in Swami Swatantranand Memorial College Dinanagar is an administrative organization of students which provides an opportunity to students to build up leadership and sharpen their skills by organizing and carrying out college activities, projects and events. The student council is an association conducted by students under the guidance of dean student council. The student council facilitates students to share ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and institute administrative authorities. Through this Student Council, S.S.M College furnishes a chance to students to express their views on issues of concern to them in the college. And through this council, students in the college become involved in the affairs of the college, working in partnership with the management, staff and students for the benefit of college and its students. Every year, to imbibe managerial skills fresher and farewell parties are organized and managed by students.
